He is terrific. I took him for classics and let me tell you he made it more interesting that it really was. Well educated man from Trinidad. Went to Harvard and he enjoys the classics. Ther is a lot to learn from this man.

Going in to this class I heard students say bad things about this man, however nothing could be farther from the truth. He is Harvard educated and actually knows something about the subject unlike most of the professors here at brooklyn. I got an A, his tests are very easy, if you dont do well in his class you are a stupid or foolish person.

He knows Greek methodology like the back of his hand. Passionate about the subject. Very strict, attendance is a must. Study the review sheets, the midterm & final comes from it + 2 papers. TONS of reading about 9 books. He's very serious about his class and has no personality. Its best not to miss class in order to get clarity from the readings.

He is following the book... Boring... Alright, he is very clear but he is such a nasty man.. I always had A's in my 3 years at Brooklyn College. With him, I wrote 2 good essays, got an A+ for each but got a B for my midterm (and i studied..)an A for my final and that's what made my final grade... Not a fair man ;(

he's a pretty interesting teacher, but an extremely hard marker. i got a B+ in his class, with doing all the readings, and writing decent papers and i'm a strictly A student - its the only B i got in my two years of school. take him if you are interested in learning but not that into your grades.

Unless you love greek mythology, do not take this class on the weekend. He is a nice guy but very intimidating, so you may be very hesitant to ask questions..he uses lots of facial expressions to show his true feelings, he may answer your question but all the while he has this expression of "don't interrupt me when I'm quoting Plato!" Funny, he gets mad when people don't bring their books or do their reading, but why should they when he explains everything so perfectly. Best professor I've taken so far. Two fairly graded papers, the readings, and the mid-term and final were what we were graded on. The tests weren't too hard, but a great memory helps. Highly recommended.
