She is bad a explaining things. I thought I was going to fail but I studied really hard for the final and got a B. I failed 2 out of 3 test. I did all the homework and got ok grades. If you are really bad at Math don't take her unless you want to take a risk.

Comment:

Kellie Evans goes beyond the material that you are supposed to know. In the end, you'll realize the common final is a lot easier than her tests. I really don't like the fact how she grades homeworks from the students like a test. This is not necessary because she's assuming you to understand everything soon as her lecture ends.

she's a great teacher, she covers a lot of information and VERY fast. You have to keep up and try not to miss class, all her tests cover exactly what she teaches in class. I missed 2 classes and it was so clear on my exams which days I missed. She's always willing to explain a problem you don't get, and assigns a lot of HW!!

Prof. Evans is a great teacher. Math 310 covers a lot so she goes pretty fast, but so do all the other teachers. She's really fun...take her, but you may have to wait because she's having a baby in September!

Somehow math 340 attracts lazy students who want answers spoon fed to them. Dr. Evans is an excellent instructor. Her exams and grading are very fair. She doesn't submit to poor students who are used to whining and getting their way. I would recommend her to anyone who is motivated enough to earn an A. Note: Beware of raters who cannot spell.

Very helpful. Ask any questions you have during class that way you don't feel she's putting helping you off. Very nice & helps you as long as u need help. Just take all the group quizzes & turn in your homework. She let's u replace one test score with the score you got on your final. Final is easy. Just review previous tests.

Don't take her. The way she lectures is very easy going and seems like its vague. So automatically you would think that she would be easy going on the test as well. WRONG. She grades her tests so picky. She'll find the littlest things to mark off points. Most of the students in her class was always in the tutoring lab because she was that hard.

She sux! Half of the stuff she puts on the test is not apart of the homework assignments she gives you. You're marked off if u misplace a line on a 3D figure u have to draw, and some stuff on the final she never taught to the class. DOn't take her!

Boy is this class hard! there are a total of four exams + hwk. She is very picky on both the exams and the assignments + she doesnt grade her own work..she has a grader. Her exams are way harder than the stuff that she lectures on. Avoid this teacher if u can.

She understands her subjects well but she can't teach it. Take someone else if possible. I guess she is a proof that just because you are good in something you aren't necessarily good in teaching it. Take her if you already understand the subject well.
