I have yet to see a better organized class. He gives you the notes, fills them out with you, and shows you how to use the tools. The experience he has in automation control and in teaching really made a difference for me. He is the best instructor I've ever had, bar none.

Excellent teacher. Has taught PLC courses many times and is very good at it. EE235 is very informative and is not taxing if you attend class. The lab is an excellent way to get real experience using several different PLC languages. The lab is infinitely easier if you have a good, motivated lab partner, so choose wisely.

Good teacher. Homework and tests are graded very strict, but tests are open note/book. If you understand the material it shouldn't b a problem. He is also great if you need to go to him with questions. The labs could be written better, but they are easy to get A's on if you complete them. He is passionate about PLCs so it makes the class better.

PLCs are really boring, but he tries to make it as interesting as he can. He can also be rough on grading (takes alot of points off for minor mistakes), so just read the book and work plenty of problems not skipping anything. B's are relatively easy, and A's not too hard.

Very easy to talk to outside of class. He will stop what he is doing most of the time to takl to his students as long as he is not in a meeting. His labs do nothing but act as a grade boster as long as you do them.

Not an easy instructor, but very helpful. If you go to class, take notes, do homework, review his examples, and do the labs decently, you should get at least a "B". Material is somewhat diffficult, but he is helpful even if you don't understand it right away.

I disagree about getting an A if you have a brain you can get a B pretty easily. His homework is graded really hard, and doesn't help your grade at all. Other than that, great class, great teacher.

Great & knowledgable teacher. If you have a brain you can get an A. He'll stop what he's doing to answer your questions if you see him somewhere outside of class. If thinking isn't your thing though you may have trouble with the class.
