I thoguht he was a good teacher, that's why I took him twice. He has real-world experience in the political arena, which makes for more interesting lectures. The lobbying class also had many interesting guest speakers. Reading is not neccessary.

He requires a lot of reading, which can be a bit dry. His lectures are interesting. He has an essay exam and final, multiple quizzes and a term paper (5-6 pages). Not too challenging. He's a friendly guy with a sense of humor that pops up occasionally
