Professor Sinclair is the best professor at Lehigh. He really exposes those who know the material and those who don't. If you do not do your work or copy your hw, you will fail the class. People retake the class and still do bad the second time. The material and the class isn't too hard, if you just go to class. Do not memorize and actually learn.

Very difficult class! He's a pretty good teacher & definitely cares about his students. HW takes forever and studying for tests days or a week in advance is a must. You also must know the material cold in order to get a decent grade on the tests. If you don't do the homework, I wouldn't bother coming to class because he will put you on the spot.

Professor Sinclair not only cares about his students, but will advocate for them as well. He sincerely hopes that everyone will do well, as long as they put in the effort. If you show that you are trying and are still having trouble, he will be more inclined to help than if you're not putting in effort. He is the best professor and mentor I've had.

Probably one of the best teachers at Lehigh. Extremely helpful, clear in what he wants, and can motivate the most unmotivated student to do work and do it well. Don't bother if you're expecting to slide by copying homework or memorizing problems.

Best teacher I had at Lehigh. He does an excellent job of making you see the whole picture and how each individual topic fits into the course objectives. As others have said, come prepared or don't come at all. He has no tolerance for you showing up to class unprepared, and he gives you as much respect as you give his class.

Amazing teacher, tough class. It's simple-come to each class prepared, or don't bother showing up, because he will blast you. Sinclair is a great guy and will respect you if you respect his class and try to meet his expectations. Best teacher I've had here; makes you work hard, but you walk away feeling like you actually have learned something.

Ken Sinclair: the man, the myth, the legend. What can I really say? I was absolutely dreading taking this class. I am an independent learner and thought Sinclair's style was just going to be stressful and annoying. Actually, he is a brilliant teacher and has a hilarious sense of humor; he proved that I could, in fact, be taught.

I was really unhappy with my performance in this class - I usually do pretty well but his tests are so tricky! Studied a lot and it didn't really pay off... unfortunately you have no choice in professors for this course.

I had Sinclair for intro to managerial and cost in 1976 and 1977!! He was responsible for getting me interested in accounting which became my field and I am an accounting professor now. Fair to a fault. Told us up front what was expected. If you want to learn, there is no better. Good to see that he hasn't changed. Knows his pizza too!

Sinclair is awful!!! Some people think he's "engaging" in the classroom, but in my opinion he says way too much in a disorganized fashion, so yeah, you'll be engaged to figure out what the heck he's saying. The textbook Sinclair uses, the "horngren book", is too dry and conceptual, so it is nearly useless.

Professor Sinclair is the best teacher that I have ever had. He truly cares that students learn the material and makes class as interesting as possible despite a mundane subject. Anybody who whines on this site that he is "terrible and mean" is bitter about their grade and just looking to have things handed to them. Difficult, but a great class.

Sinclair is the man. If you can't handle being pushed and challenged, then you shouldn't be at Lehigh. He genuinely cares about his students' futures and is by far the best professor I've had. Tough class but you get out of it what you put in, just like life you wimps.

Terrible professor.He isn't a professor he's a manager. He's a Grade A Jack Ass. He is very available to help a student but I find that his help is pointless. He repeats exactly what was said in class and recites the text book. and remember "thats in the horngrene book."He will say this 1million times over the course of the semester.
