One of the best instructorsI ever took classes with! You will never get bored during his classes. If you want an A, don't take his class. But if grades are not the only thing that interests you, but you also want to learn a lot of things and have fun at the class, Ken is right for you.

Monteith is a horrible grader. I am an English major and never received higher than a B+ on a paper. He allows rewrites, but his lectures are boring, stupid, and he doesn't try hard to involve you. He tries to be funny but really you just want to die. Mistake in taking him.

Worse mistake i EVER made was taking this class. I didn't learn anything valueable and my writing may have gotten worse. He is ONe of the toughest graders Fordham has to offer. Lectures are boring and for some reason he always tries to make every story we read have a sexual innuendo.Save yourself the punishment of taking this class, its a GPA kille

okay, he's a hard grader that's for sure. but he's not that horrible- he class doesn't require much work and when we do have to write essays it's about things we can relate to. he is very picky and anal about your writing and giving out C's is like his second-nature. but, overall he's pretty easy going and if you put effort you get the results.

Kenny Monteith!well, he's a little eccentric, but he makes things funny all the time. he is a tough grader at first, but if you do revisions and keep at it you will get a good grade. he is hilarious. take him, if you need humor in your lessons

He should be chased off the Fordham campus. Man is a nightmare and made my writing worse. Had to re-take his class over the summer and was told I should be in an honors program b/c i had incredible "talent"...well I guess Monteith didn't think so, since he failed me! His jokes aren't funny, he doesn't teach anything relevant. He SUCKS.

Montieth is the worst professor I have ever had. Most arbitrary grader, thinks writing is only about revision and not getting it right the first time. Had the balls to tell me my writing was too sophisticated for a certain assignment. Avoid at all costs!
