Had student teachers for all the computer labs. Don't need the textbook, just follow what the teachers are doing. The only problem was the final grade. You could had to email the student teacher for the grade.

CSCI 101A,B,C: Kent doesn't even teach the class; student teachers do. The class is boring, but easy. Just do the 2 exercises from each chapter, email it to her, and then leave early. I'm always done really early, so I just work ahead.

he is the best to take for this course. he comes off as a jerk but he's really not. much easier to understand than the other professors available. very easy grader. class is extremely boring but you have to pay attention or your screwed. book is a must, attendance is a must. missing a day or so can really set you back.

He's not hot or nice, he is fair, tests are exactly what he teaches. I usually made a copy of my hw to have when he went over it, but once I didn't, so I wrote down his answers and checked mine when I got it back. I'm a genius! I would have rated him higher, but he DID make us take notes and memorize a few things for tests. Don't miss any classes.

He is a very good professor. Although he sometimes he makes mistakes, he is very knowledgeable in the subject. His notes are thorough but at times unnecessary. If you take the time to study for the class, there's no reason why you shouldn't get a B or higher in the class.

This man is one of the worst professors I have ever had at Winthrop. Tests are EXTREMELY difficult and the material is just plain hard. Homework is given VERY often and it is collected for a grade of accuracy -- but he goes over it AFTER it's been collected. There's no way to see where you've gone wrong. DO NOT TAKE THIS MAN!

He is absent minded, never knows the answers to homework problems he assigns ...and the problems on his tests are not like the problems studied in class or on the homework. He is not student friendly and he does not help you after class. His reviews are confusing.

I agree with everyone Kent expects you to know alot b/4 the test. You basically need to study the formulas. The test aren't all that bad so long as you study. He needs his own book for this class. He teaches his own thing. He all but tells you what in the book is wrong and his way is more accurate. He's not willing to help students and he is not clear in his teachings. He needs to re-address his reasons for teaching in the first place. He's not a very good person in general.

There are times when this man doesn't seem to have a clue and it is almost amusing. You have to teach a lot of the material to yourself to gain a thorough understanding of it. As bad as he is though, he really trys to be good, and if you put in the time, you can come out ok from his class.

Foster is very strict at knowing the information. No formula sheet is allowed. He wants every step explained in detail. If you don't like to study, you better stay far away from him. Overall he is a very through teacher, and you WILL learn something.
