His explanations of assignments is absolutely terrible. He then grades harshly, punishing you for his mistakes.

He is very intelligent and presents the lectures in an organized and concise manner. The work is complex and the readings long, but he is a great resource in office hours to make it all make sense. You will learn a lot and do well if you understand what he wants from the readings.

He has great depth and breadth of knowledge about everything related (and not-related) to the class. A little distant, but otherwise an excellent prof, very clear and concise, and interesting too!

Comment:
His class, Politics of the World Economy, is extremely challenging. There is a ton of reading, around 100-150 pages per class. However, you learn a great deal of material, class discussions are very lively, and this prof. knows his stuff.
