Ferris is an awesome teacher...her lectures are great because she uses real-life examples for the abstract ideas that she teaches. READ ALL THE CHAPTERS or you will be blind-sided on the tests. Other than that she is really approachable and is intelligent and is genuinely excited about sociology.

Ferris is amazing. Honestly, as a new student I could not ask for a better transitional teacher. Not only is she an outstanding professor but an incredible and interesting person. She is very dedicated to sociology and extremely intelligent. READ THE BOOK!!!

This has been my least favorite teacher for my Bradley career. This woman is self-absorbed, and very discouraging, not to mention very strange. she has chosen extremely boring books for her class. I advise to avoid her at all costs.
