Quite simply, Trask RAWKS the house! I had the pleasure of taking his classes in the mid 90s, and he is the best professor I have ever had. He's highly intelligent, knows how to lecture, knows how to get a student to learn and cares! He has a cutting wit to him, so you have to be on your toes. He'll give you 100% if you do.

Kerry Trask dominates. His lectures are incredibly riveting and informative. If you don't learn a lot about history in his class, you're not showing up. He's also quite the comedian. The only downside to his class is writing the 4 or 5 essays, of which only one is graded. Nevertheless, great teacher. Too bad this is his last semester.

I had Professor Trask for several history courses back in 1981-83. Awesome instructor and he totally motivates his students to WANT to learn about the subject. Always available for help with essays, etc. However, he didn't swear at all back then; I've heard that his language has gotten worse. He is about to retire; what a loss that will be!!

A truly dedicated interest in education. You learn to take notes, write essays, and read a map. Always available for consultation (that may have cost him his marriage in the end). Far from being another biased dead wood hot air professor, he has a total enthusiam for teaching. Relates to students as adults, not as high school students. Energetic!!

Great teacher!!! Very fun to listen to. He gets his point accross and will give you awsome discriptions. The essays are easy if you just listen to what he want from you. He will proof them as well so if you do bad in these classes it's your fault for not being prepared. Barely any homework just the essays that you get 5 weeks to do!!

Amazing teacher, love his style! Hated history until I went to his classes. Don't get caught sleeping, he will definately humiliate you! When you write the papers for his exams, have him proofread it, he will tell you exactly what he wants, easy A then!

Professor Trask is awesome. He is really interesting and makes history fun. You don't need to read the book-only for looking up vocab words for quizzes. Take good notes because all of your tests are essay based-and he answers the questions right in class. He loves quotes-put good ones in your paper.

Out of this world funny. If a person just wants to sit around and listen to an old man **** and drop the f-bomb, he is the man for you. I had him for 3 classes and still in everyone, he could compare ****s to something in history every DAMN TIME!!

before trask i couldn't stand taking any history class, but after the first lecture of his that i was in, i continued to look forward to the class(if that is possible). all in all he is a great teacher who is interesting and makes class a lot of fun. if you take notes you'll get a good grade.

Being taught history by a professor that remembers listening to FDR talk on the radio is quite the experience. I never wanted to take notes, but rather just sit and listen to the story being told. He never lost my attention in that class.
