He's really nice. He cares about attendance while he understands that some work full time just as long as you email him and dont make it a habit of not showing up he is good. Be prepared to read, for papers make sure you site the pages, this is how he knows that you read and didnt get it online. He makes learning fun. Highly recommend this class

He's all bark, no bite. Show you take your grade seriously and he will work with you. Midterm was absurd, obscure and difficult. Failed the midterm but got an A for the course, extra credit is available. Show you care, keep in touch with him and you're golden.

Took him for American Lit I. I think he is great. Intially, he can come across as a brute but if you stick around you will find he actually has a sense of humor. He knows what he is talking about. There is a lot of group work and you have to read and participate. He gives you a fair grade and I would take another class with him.

He seems tough and strict the first day. as the classes go on, you realize he is not bad at all. Do the readings and take part in discussions, he gets down to business and then class is over. very fair grader, pay attention and you'll learn alot. i really liked him.
