Professor Kwait is a good guy who care about his class. He gives extra credit if you catch a mistake, keeps you engaged. I've had long talks with him after class on interesting CS topics. A group of us once told him we were going to use the cs lab on a Saturday and he just showed up to see how we were doing.. on his day off (He has another job)

Comment:

Best professor of graduate Information Assurance & Cybersecurity course with most applied course coverage. Everything on schedule: always. Extra credit and makeover activities for those who show initiative while holding full-time work. Very clear expectations. Easy A as long as one pays attention and meets clearly specified expectations.

One of the better teachers. He covers the 3 important teaching methods - visual (notes on projector), auditory (lecture that follows notes), and hands on (works through problems as a class). He has high standards so don't slack off, and if you miss a class be prepared to have to make up for it.

Doesn't use a textbook, everything is from lecture/notes. He covers the subject well, so a book is unnecessary. I found him to be approachable, understandable, methodical, and fair (albeit tough). I fully intend on taking more classes with him. On the down side, he has a tendency to go off on tangents, and get boring on occasion.

This guy is horrible.. One thing he sucks in what he teaches.. always assumes he is right on everything. I busted my ass in his class and ended up getting C- .. a ****ing C-, can you believe that. My last semester that lowered my overall GPA

I never failed a class that I put forth effort in until I took this guys class. Test questions weren't covered in class. He was impolite towards me when I asked for help. Worse yet, the Comp Sci. chairman told me he failed at LEAST half the class.
