Professor MacWade is a history buff. He assigns 3 quizzes and 1 final and drops the lowest quiz grade. Hes open to help students make flash cards for his quizzes. Hes also a throwback. He writes on the board and doesnt like students to have water bottles or phones out. Hes not a fan of tardiness but hes kind. Hes also a great story teller.

MacWade is a great professor. He knows anything / everything about the class he is teaching. His grading criteria is very clear. If you don't do well, it's your own fault!! I wish he taught at the University I am attending now--I'd take every class his name was attached to. Take this class--You won't regret it!! TAKE NOTES!!!

He only uses a blackboard, not a white board. If he does write on the board, which he rarely does, it's in cursive and in chalk so it's hard to read. Will call you out in class if you so much as touch your phone/laptop, even for note taking purposes, or even take a sip of your basic human right to water.

professor macwade was very knowledgeable. he is an old school professor that uses chalk, black board and do not use canvas. he arrives on time. exams are essays which you have discussed in class. no textbook. he drops the lowest grade of the 3 exams. also takes attendance but does not count as part of your grade.

I'm starting off by saying I have all a's except for this teacher. He is a walking textbook and lectures every single class. That is all you do. He gives tests and that's the only grades you get making it very scary. He gives you four essays that you go over and expects a novel on it. Also he gives you vocab words that he doesnt review. Very hard

Not my style st all. If your a visual learner don't take his class. He writes everything on the board and you just write it down that's the only thing you do. You need coffee to stay awake but you can't drink anything in his class. If your into lectures take his class otherwise run away.

Professor MacWade seemed like a boring old man at the start, but once you realize what he expects from his students, you will warm up to him. Make sure to write down everything he writes on his board! That's what you need to pass the class. If you don't take notes and study them well, you will fail. Would love to take another one of his classes!

I thoroughly enjoyed his class. He is crystal clear abut grading and what he expects on tests. There are 4 tests and the lowest grade gets dropped, the study guide is given for each test 4-6 weeks in advance. He is humorous and entertaining to listen to. He knows his stuff and is willing to help if you visit his office.

Dr. MacWade knows what he's talking about, and he expects you to as well. There is no book for his class (he is the book!), so taking notes is essential. Know your IDs and write your essays down to the last detail. He is kind and funny, which makes his lectures enjoyable.

Dr. MacWade is the best of the best. He's funny and he knows his stuff. He gives you all of the information needed for the essay part of the exams, but you need to look up the ID's on your own time and make sure they include the 5 W's. Come to class early, pay attention, and take good notes; if you're unsure, ask him questions, he will answer them.

I had MacWade my first semester at massasoit and at first his class seemed to be intimidating but as long as you show up, take excellent notes and study youll be fine. He gives out the study guide with the exact questions on the test, I would just memorize the material and recieved an A. Not mention he's kind of a funny guy, class was rarely boring

Take him for U.S. History! He lectures, & writes all the notes you need to know on the board. All you need to do is copy them into your notebook. He will give you a study guide with 3 essays & 15 Vocab words. Each test there will be 2 of those essays on there that u only need to do 1 & about 7 of those vocab words you need to define. GO TO CLASS!

Do NOT be late to his class. This man is a genius, really knows his stuff. He tells you EVERYTHING you need to know for his exams. Know your ID's he gives you weeks ahead of time and write down his notes. He makes it easy to pass his class but won't put up with tardiness. Highly reccommend if you are not a slouch just trying to squeak by.

Macwade is wicked chill!!! I aced his class barely even trying. His tests are 100% based on the notes so attendance to class is wicked important!!! He also HATES tardiness and drinking/texting in class!!! But he's def awesome... def taking civII with him. He tries to throw in jokes to spice up what he teaches &&sometimes they work haha
