Yeah we're in college, SO WE'RE PAYING HIM TO TEACH. If I want to ****ing leave early because I don't believe in the "atomic clock" then so be it. He is so full of himeself and all he talks about is how he used to be fat and is skinny now and his ****ing hair cuffs in his mile long pony tail are too distracting. Should be fired.

I think he is really intelegent and He really has a lot to offer in the class. I actually took the class twice because I failed the first time but the second time around I got a B. (the summer session was ten times better). He pissed me off once because he is so freaking anal about attendance and one girl tried to sneak out like 20 mins early and he totally stopped in the middle of class to embarass her and keep her there. I used to call him my Natzi teacher :) But he really is a good guy.

Very full of himself. Poor attitude right off the bat. Almost reported him to the dean of A&S for an incident he pulled in class concerning an attendance discrepency with a student that he held the entire class responsible for. He shouldn't be teach

Payne expects a lot, but he should, we're in college! He is a little arrogant, not very patient with students' questions, but overall a good professor and I enjoyed the class. While it was a lot more work and time intensive than most, that is a good thing, college should be. I actually learned something in this class.

I do not like this man. He is so full of himself. His notes are hard to understand. His tests are hard to understand. I am an A student and I almost got a C in this class. There were 8 A's given in a 150 person class. Do not take his classes!!!

Definitely full of himself. Wastes time in class telling uninteresting stories that have nothing to do with what we're talking about just to let us know that he knows everything. MOST IMPORTANTLY, you don't learn crap about deviance. A big disappointment.

He is the hardest teacher ever. He doesn't explain things clearly AT ALL! I had to use a freakin' dictionary just to know what he was talking about on the study guides b/c he likes to use unnecessary big words just so we all know how smart he is. Ugh.
