Professor Petersen is absolutely phenomenal! He makes a required course fun and always encourages students thinking. He was very helpful throughout the year with answering questions, clarifying readings, and so much more. Extremely fair grader, meaning if you put the work in, you'll do great! I will 100% be taking a course with him again!

If you get the chance to take a class with Prof. Petersen, DO IT. He is hilarious, and a fantastic teacher. He makes a somewhat dry Shakespeare reading into something great. He is very lenient on papers in terms of what the class wants for due dates & length. Always tries to make things as easy as possible for students, really cares about success.

Professor Peterson is one of the most helpful and comical teachers I've had. He always keeps class entertaining and he is not bad to look at, honestly. Professor, you make Shakespeare I bearable, thank you!

I definitely learned a lot from professor Petersen! His class is not easy though. You need to really work to get the A, but he really wants you too succeed in his class and is willing to help you out with anything. His class is very interesting. I recommend him to people who actually want to improve their writing and learn something.

He was really cool and a fair grader if you put in a decent effort. He really helped the students write papers if they were struggling and he definitely made class fun. He completely ignored the second paper, which was awesome, and gave us mini ones instead. Skim the readings to do well, and just go to class, he's funny so its not even that bad!

Shakespeare was always my favorite aspect of literature, but Prof Kenney's lectures were very trying and usually difficult to sit through...If it weren't for Kevin's knowledge, hard work, and great insight, this class would have been awful.
