As far as an instructor, he's fairly middle of the road. He's a little disorganized sometimes, and his tests are flipping impossible. But he's not bad as a person, and he makes the class interesting. There's a lot of religion talk in class (duh, philosophy), but if that doesn't bother you and you study, you're golden.

Not sure how anyone can say this class is so tough when study guides are provided for tests and every essay question is given to students before the test. This is not high school where you can just blow in and not study and expect to get an "A." Extra Credit is also available.

This teacher was definitely not my favorite. It was always hard to get a good grade on his tests no matter how much I studied. Luckily there was a big group project that was worth a lot of points to help my grade. Also he gives a lot of assignments which help too. I didn't like how long and boring the lectures were.

He is a really cool guy and if you study for his tests you will pass. Also, he gives in class quizzes but if you don't like the grade you got you can write a one page paper and replace the grade with your quiz. And he is hot!

He is a cool teacher. I took Intro to Ethics. It was a hard class. He taught it like it was a 300 course. You need to attend or you will miss out. He rarely used the book. He is a great teacher and answered any questions you had. He was pretty cool and gave you up until the day of the test to turn in your paper.

His class requires a lot of studying to do well in it. He does offer extra credit assignments and if you do bad on the worldview papers you have the option of writing a worldview paper to try to get a better grade.

He's awesome! I would recommend him to anyone. He does not use his personal opinions in his lectures. The class discussions are always interesting and fun. He really makes you think (which is a good thing). The tests are pretty lengthy, and you have to study for them, but other than that the class was easy.

Mr. Short is a really good teacher. His coursework is kind of demanding, be ready to study and put the time in. He gives you extra credit opportunities, so as long as you're willing to work there's no reason to fail. He is very helpful and enjoys talking to people. Seems happy almost every day. Definately recommend this professor.

Favorite teacher ever. It wasen't the easiest class I have ever taken but he made it extremely interesting. Wish I could take him again. He's also available and very approachable for help. He even took our class to lunch towards the end of semester.
