By far one of my most frustrating professors. DO NOT take this class if you're looking to just fulfill your fine arts credit. If you don't ACT according to her interpretation, you are wrong. Little to no artistic freedom and she definitely favors the theater majors. It's her way or the highway. I really didn't learn very much

She definitely picks favorites and it is very obvious. She says you are going to be graded on your improvement but that is not true at all. She calls you out and is rude if you're acting is not to her standards. For an intro to acting class she definitely expects a lot. I would avoid.

I was hoping to get an easy class to get my fine arts credit and booyyy was I wrong. This class is very demanding and she requires a huge out of class commitment. Although I did buckle down and worked hard for my A, I would avoid her if your not looking to make drama one of your most time consuming classes in your schedule.

Ki is a great Acting teacher. She really knows what she's talking about and she's full of energy! Her class is really fun to attend. The only issue is her paper assignments are ambiguous and if you ask her to clarify she gets kind of angry. So it's better just to ask your classmates. Definitely worth taking the class.

Ki is such an excellent teacher. She knows what she is talking about when it comes to theater!! I am a theater major and am looking forward to taking more of her classes! I highly reccomend her Acting 250 class to anyone who also just needs a fine art credit to fufill the core requirement!

her class is pretty easy. the major projects take effort but you are mostly graded on whether or not she likes you. she picks favorites and pairs them together and gives those people higher grades on projects. her grading scale has no rationale behind it. ridiculous

Took her for Acting I, great great teacher! She's passionate about what she does, and relates the class for things besides Acting majors. Attendance is part of the grade, in class exercises are done frequently. Two plays are read, three plays are attended, and you get a day off class to go to the zoo! Show up and do the work, easy A.

Ki is a very aloof professor. Her class is not terribly hard, but you will come away having learned nothing. She gives very little feedback and requires attendance and a large commitment outside of the classroom. Her exercises are weird, and she is not engaging at all. I would recomend trying someone else for drama if at all possible.

An absolute fountain of knowledge. One of the best writing classes I've ever taken. Great exercises and learning experiences. I still look back on my notes from this class even though i took it several years ago. Ki is absolutely one of the best teachers around.

She knows what she's talking about. Even though you'll want to scoff at her mime/mask work/animal movement projects, realize that she's working towards a greater goal for you. She'll seem a bit off at first, but she's very inspiring and really can help you become a great actor.

Ki has such a vivid personality, you cannot let that scare you away though. she pushes the limits at every turn, she is the type of professor that you can go farther with creatively as long as you fully believe in what you are doing, she won't let rules, norms, or boundaries stand in your way. let it all hang loose in her class and go for it!
