Terrible teacher and her grading is messed up. She doesnt give out A's and is inconsistent with her grading. She will give you a rubric and when you meet all the requirements you will still get a C-. Take this with someone else, not worth the headache.

Mandatory class that everyone needs to take for many majors. Class isn't that difficult to get a 'B' in. Not much homework, just speech writing. There may be other teachers to take this class with which you may be able to squeeze an 'A' out of, but for the amount of work it worth taking it with Kim.

Her grading system is messed up. Picks favorites. NEVER used her textbook. Not the worst class I've had at sunyit and I actually learned a little from her class. But she would say one thing and mean another. great class to get to know your classmates tho.

This teacher seems to only give B's. When I took this class with her the grading system was inconstant for every speech. She would give you satisfactory on everything and give you a B overall and on another speech with satisfactory on everything she would give you a B-/C+. The work is easy though!

Thought I'd hate a speech class, ended up loving it. Lets you have a lot of fun with your speeches. Really nice lady. Makes everyone comfortable about doing speeches. Just show up and do about a speech every 2 weeks, and you will actually see yourself get better.

An absolute doll! Probably one of the nicest and smartest profs at crappy SUNYIT...her level is far above that of most teachers here..encourages discussion and debate..doesnt mind getting off topic if we learn something from it..people who dont like her or say shes boring are probably not that brigh
