Incredibly smart. A lot of work, but worth it. She is very helpful during office hours. Tough but fair grader on lab reports, really helpful at clarifying the material. Very nice too.

Professor Schandel is brilliant! I really recommend her class, although must keep in mind that she is very challenging. But I consider that every Biology/Chemistry major should take at least 1 class with her. She made Science fun! She loves when students go to her office hours!

Great teacher. Easily one of the nicest professors I've had. Her class is tough (mainly her tests) but if you make sure to review your notes every night (everyone tells you to) you'll do fine. GO TO OFFICE HOURS! They help so much!

Amazing teacher, lectures were presented perfectly for me. Very clear, organized, approachable. Tests challenge you to learn more, keep your tests for the final- useful study aids. Learned tons enjoyed the class totally worth the work! Didnt mind the papers, they're short. long lab reports were a drag, though you were forced to learn a lot.

SCHANDEL IS AWSOME! Best teacher i've had in a log time. Very clear and explains everything well. If you are having trouble she will help you. Make sure you read the book and memorize class notes! VERY CHALLENGING
