Late to class often, will then rush through the lesson. Terrible at explaining projects and when you email for help she doesn't respond. Very hard grader, if she doesn't like it you get a poor grade. Very critical of everyone's ideas for lessons and made you feel stupid when you told her about them. Take a different professor.

Passed the class with an A, but she is a horrible teacher. I do not recommend taking her. You make lesson plans and teach them to her kids at Metcalf which is great experience, but a ton more work than other KNR 222 classes. Should have been 3 credits instead of 2. She also, makes you feel stupid for your ideas if she does not like them.

She's constantly late to class. Like 45 minutes late.. expects you to stay and wait and if you don't you lose attendance points. Since class is only once a week if you miss class, even for emergencies. She will deduct points for attendance. 2 grade percentages to be exact... she isn't clear as to what she wants. Hard to receive feedback from.

Was excited because this class doesn't have tests/final. Kim is a PE teacher at met calf during the day and seems great at what she does but is not good at teaching college students. Very passive aggressive and makes you feel uncomfortable when you want to approach her. Sucks at answering emails and is a tough lesson grader.

This is a 2 credit hour class, but hasn't felt like it all semester. She grades projects very harshly, and I would argue, unfairly. Knowing this, I turned in projects ahead of time to get feedback (per her suggestion) and she never replied to a single one of my emails all semester. I would urge you to take this class with another prof. Seriously.

I thought this would be an interesting, fairly easy 2-credit class. Boy was I WRONG. She is very unclear on project guidelines, and always seems like she's in a hurry and not willing to help us. She is the PE teacher at Metcalf, so she knows her stuff. Teaching assignments are very hard and she is a super hard grader. Print off the powerpoints.

Other KNR teachers are getting to her and making her less fun. Had her for 158 and she was a blast, now in 221 she is starting to get more and more uptight and picky. Not a bad class, just not a blow off.
