Easy class. Honestly the way she teaches, a 12 year old could get an easy A. She's very tolerant of people that ask the same questions 5 times. Quizzes are easy, tests are fine if you use her study guide. Most of the information you learn in this class is just common sense, anyway.

I loved Dr. Moffitt's class. Yeah, you had to study for the tests, but they weren't hard if you were in class.She didn't pick favorites,but you coudl tell she didn't like when people complained about how "unfair" the tests were...I thought her whole class was fair, and I learned a lot from her. I would take her again!

She is challenging. Unfortunatly the people who are making the comments dont care to take time to meet the prof outside of class. She is awesome and open to hearing all your comments. Its intersting how if your in the majority you tend to see a person of color as having favorites.Would you say that about your white prof who has all white student?

Bad teacher she picks her favorites, and doesn't really care about others! she live in another state and travels to chicago! HELLO she is NEVER around for help, why do we even have a teacher that live in another state teaching at DePaul? Well if you really want to work hard and not get a good grade then take this class.

I loved this teacher! At times she seemed very black and white but for the most part she raised great discussions. Not much work at all and it was interesting stuff to do. Tests were very hard but they didnt' hurt your grade too much. Lots of xtra credit! This class was awesome! TAKE IT!!!!

Take her for your soph. seminar. It was an easy class and the exams were very easy. She is specific, but she is very helpful and willing to address issues that you have. I liked her a lot, and we watched a lot of videos.

Dr. Moffitt is a wonderful teacher. her classes are all easy. YOu just have to use her study guides. You don't need to take notes if you have the book. Her videos, discussions, etc are all interesting. She is very approachable. It's sad when people are intimidated because she's a brilliant woma

I didn't feel as though she knew the information herself, or how to teach it. I felt that every time I asked her for help she was very rude and unpleasent... She openly stated that she attempts to trick everyone with her exams. Overall I would never take her again!

Moffitt gives off the impression that she is a nice lady, but her tests are impossible. I studied so much for the test and still got a C. Her questions are very specific (and not important) and she trys to trick you. I would not take her if I did not have to.

Professor Moffitt is a very good professor. Her discussion of topics is completely appropriate and relevant to modern issues. Don't take the class if you are a close-minded, prejudice, bigot, otherwise you might find it "boring" or "confusing"

Class discussion is pointless chit-chat! (and thats the entire class)Not only is it all about black/white, its all about pro-woman (I'm female and annoyed)I haven't learned a thing. Test ?s are unclear & she uses trick questions on purpose. she picks favorits, careful if you are not one of them.

She is a truly amazing woman. She has a great command of her topic and teaches in a great style. I loved her class. I have had her numerous times and would again! Her tests are so easy, she gives out study guides that tell you everything on the test!

She was the best teacher I had so far, in my 3 years at DePaul. She can really reach you, if you take the time to listen. She understands, and will help you out the best way she can. I really loved her class

Dr. Moffitt was decent when I had her. I learned a lot. I did tend to think she focused to much on Black and White. But that was interesting for me but not for others. She was always helpful and her test were pretty easy.

Just average. She is knowledgable but I didn't really learn much in the class since it was mainly a discussion of personal feelings. She grades fairly easily. She missed 2 night classes but then gave us an extra paper during finals because of it-not cool.
