Such an incredibly nice guy!! He was always available to talk to if you needed it. You can tell he really truly loves literature and poetry with his soul. He always speaks so passionately of it in classes and it will rub off on you. There's so many great things to say about him, but not enough room here.

He is a very knowledgeable and experienced teacher who is always willing to talk with and help his students. I enjoyed his class very much and loved the fact that he would take time to give feedback. This class helped me to grow as a writer. He does tend to go off on tangents regarding personal stories from his life, but he never fails to get back.

Dr. Weixel is the man. His lectures can be kind of dry and seem boring (especially if you have him for an 8 AM) but he is super nice and his tests are based off of class lectures and discussions. I would DEFINITELY recommend him for this course!

Wonderful professor. Extremely helpful, friendly, and approachable. Lots of in-class discussion (speak up: he wants you to participate), and if you do the required reading and take notes, the short answer tests are easy. Brilliant man and I'll gladly take more of his classes in the future.

He is an awesome prof!!!You HAVE to go to class AND take notes on his lectures~no laptops, you have to write! His exams are all essay and short answer, but if you read all the stories and study the notes from his lecture it's an easy A. If you question a wrong answer he will hear your reasoning, and if he agrees he with you, he'll change it!
