Comment:
For FS101, KP was such an amazing and caring advisor and mentor. The class was overall very easy, with attendance mandatory. She made the class feel like a family and it was very laidback and discussion based. She is very caring about her students and will help you with anything she can. She wants to help make her students the best they can be.

Comment:
KP is a professor who feels her class/instruction is more important than anything. She has an ego in that regard. Yet when you challenge her with an outside-the-box type question she rarely has an answer for you. She also will also take you thru the honor code process for little to no reason. Grades based off technicalities rather than creativity

KP is a tough professor. Her quizzes and exams don't count for all that much, and she tends to play favorites in class. She it's afraid to take you to the honor committee over something tiny either. You do tend to learn a lot though, and as long as you stay on her good side, you should be fine

KP is by far my favorite professor this semester! While her class has been very lecture-heavy, she always keeps discussion going and gives fascinating topics in our assignments. Don't get me wrong, just because this is a 100 level class doesn't mean it's easy - she makes you work, but is one of the kindest and caring people who is there for you.

She is not very helpful and pretty rude. I know what tough love is and she does not do any of that, very disrespectful, plays favorites and does not know what she is talking about when it comes to pre-med she does not know very much.

Comment:
Most people give KP terrible ratings, but she is very helpful during lab. Though she doesn't have a title, she is extremely competent. And yes, she's hard on her students, but we work with dangerous chemicals and she only does that to prevent students from hurting themselves. Doesn't like you if you have no common sense.

I had KP for OChem lab, and while most people dont' like her, I actually found her to be a lot of fun. She has always gone out of her way to help me, and I know she has for anyone brave enough to go up to her in person. She is a little intimidating at first, but she really is an awesome professor.

I seriously think she read every other sentence for our reports. And 30 mins into the lab, she will not come out of her office! Bad, bad, bad

She's not horrible, but she certainly doesn't explain things well. Very harsh grader on lab reports and just smiles at you when you make a mistake during the lab. Go to the TAs for help.

Not nice, not even respectful. It isn't about learning with her, its about already knowing, which is difficult when she doesn't put a lot of the lab info up until a day or two before the lab. If you have the chance to take lab with PJ, DO IT!!!

Shes not nice, doesn't care if students do not understand what they are supposed to be doing but gets really pissed off iff you do mess up. She doesn't like people to ask questions in lab.

As a premed advisor, she provides tough love - so listen up if she's telling you to pick another path - she's probably right. As an o-chem prof, she's a bit too demanding, and it's not always clear how things should work in the lab.

She knows her stuff and she will tell you the truth..... if you can't handle that then get out of the health professions. She can be a bit scary but talk to her one on one and she is one of the nicest, most helpful people you can hope to come across

She's got some kind of serious grudge against the world, especially if you're not a pre-med.
