She's a very intelligent, well spoken person who really gets you thinking. I got to read novels that I might have never picked up before and her seminar has helped me in other classes. She's very frank but not a hard grader like others say, like with all classes, if you don't read, your papers will suck and you won't get a good grade.

Professor McClure is a tough teacher and a hard grader but an awesome lecturer. If you read her material throughly, she usually assigns about 100 pgs. a week, then the lectures will be valuable.She is very approachable in office hours and will help you if you need it

Amazing lecturer, very enjoyable and interesting to listen to. Not too hard or too easy. Very fair (thus far).
