Prof. Decker is a great teacher! He makes learning Spanish fun and (somewhat) easy, and he is hilarious! His classes are really fast-paced though, and you will get behind fast if you don't keep up with the homework. He's the only professor I've had this semester who bothered to know and address everyone by name :)

Professor Decker is amazing. I have taken Spanish for a long time and never come close to understanding or appreciating it like Decker taught me. He's funny, and does a great job of making the topic interesting and relevant. Be ready for some serious homework, barely any that he assigns, just department stuff... DON'T PUT IT OFF IT WILL SNOWBALL.

Professor Decker is an excellent Spanish professor who truly cares about his work. I really struggled with Spanish, and he helped me anytime I asked. His class was not easy, but I was still able to get a B with his help and hard work.

I love Professor Decker! I'm not a "language person," but Prof. Decker explained things VERY well and was always ready to help his students. He has a good sense of humor and likes to poke fun at his students (in spanish of course). Tests are tough, but studying pays off a whole ton. I recommend this class.

Mr. Decker always made classes different and interesting. Whether it was through props, examples, games, group presentations or projects, or traditional food, I was always engaged in his classes. He is very open to helping students if they are having trouble in class. You have to make an effort though.

Kit is brilliant. The subject is not "easy" but it is possible to get a great grade IF you work for it. Participate in class, DO THE ONLINE WORKBOOK! That is often the difference between grades in his class. Always available for students and active in clubsevents on campus. Ask for help if you are struggling and he will assist where needed.

This is a hard class with a lot of work, but it is very possible if you study and ask questions. He speaks in spanish mostly and expects you to participate and give good effort. He's super funny and actually laid back, just don't forget he's a professor first and he will grade fairly. Study and ask questions and you'll do fine.

I came into his class as an english major only taking spanish because it was a requirement. after 4 awesome semesters with prof Decker, i'm a Spanish major and i absolutely love Spanish!! he's funny, keeps you interested. you learn so much because of his fun teaching style that his tests (which would be dreadfully hard for other classes) arent bad.
