Dr. Duguay is an incredibly knowledgeable AND helpful teacher. She expects you to have read, of course, the work that you will be doing in class. Had english comp online with her which made it easy. I just wrote what I had to and turned them in on time. I didn't do as much work as I should of. If I had completely everything on time it would have been an easy A, but I'm a slacker and received a C. At least she passed me, which makes her nice in my book.

History of the English Language is an extrememly hard class, but as you go further into the context, it gets easier. She is extrememly helpful though, and always offers extra help if it's needed. Reviews so much and goes slow enough for the students to grasp on. Not my favorite English class, but it's very interesting, and she's great at it!

REALLY NICE. heps you a lot and wants you to succeed. The textbook is used for you to get writing prompts so if u know someone that has it, just borrow it and make copies of the pages. 5 essays have to write but very helpful in that area and very clear on directions

I think Dr. Duguay is awesome. I loved taking History of the Enlish Language. She is a very nice person as well as a great prof. Don't think that you can get away without doing any work if you want a good grade. But, isn't that how it's supposed to work? I'd take her class again just for the fun of it.

History of English- She is a very nice person and helpful with assignments. The class is tough, so do the required readings and complete the quizzes before class. She does take attendance and makes you do group presentations. I wish she had taught the class more often herself rather than having us do presentations. I would take her again.

She will really respect you if you honestly try to do the assignments. She makes a lot of comments on 1st drafts, just follow them and you'll get a good grade. Very helpful, and very creative topics. Picking our own topic for the final essay was great!
