Comment:

Professor Triff is a fair grader. She really tries to be easy on your essay questions. There are a lot of materials covered in an exam so it is quite exhausting to study for one. Her lectures is long and her voice is so soothing, but not loud. She keeps changing between slides so sometimes it might confuse you what she is talking about.

I don't think she is a responsible professor. She is so unorganized and gives us so much paper and reading. And, her efficiency is really low. It takes a long time for you to receive your feedback of homework.

good professor. a little disorganized but good about emphasizing important material for tests. don't just study the slides she gives you for the IDs though, you need to do more for the essay, but she'll usually hint at what it could be on and give you a choice between two

I took my first Arch. class with Prof. Triff and her class was one of the main reasons I decided to continue with the minor. Like others have said she is tough but fair and don't go in expecting a cake-walk. It's best to try to get to know her one-on-one if you're having trouble she's quick to help out.

She was a decent teacher in the classroom. But my grades did not reflect how hard I was working/how well I understood the material. She would offer to look over papers, but wouldn't get them back to me or would offer vague advice on how to improve them. During finals she played favorites, allowing some people to trun in papers/hand in exams late.

She's very sweet and easy to reach. Uses good slides. Good at identifying specific architectural details within specific slides, but not good at pointing out overarching themes to watch out for or giving good summaries of architectural eras. You really have to learn on your own from the text--lectures are summaries of the readings.

Triff is a great teacher! He lectures are a bit disorganized and can be difficult to follow, and her assignments sometimes vague. However she will practically bend over backwards to help you out! Just make sure to study for tests, and as for essays try to write as much information down as you possibly can. She likes to chop off points otherwise.
