Not very organized, and his lectures show it. Makes examples for topics as he goes so sometimes he made mistakes which confused most of us while studying or doing homework. Meta-Analysis (test corrections) help, but be prepared to teach yourself a lot. Online homework wasn't too difficult. Show up to class for participation points.

Great and funny teacher, although he doesn't seem to be organized in his lectures. He would mostly just pick whatever relevant topic and go from there. I won't go to specifics, but his grading is rather unconventional

Took Captain K-Dog last fall and it is safe to say that he was the best professor ive taken at LMC. Not only was he a physics genius, but also a comedian, who always kept our class laughing. He made the class VERY passable - full points on hw and labs, as long as they were completed. He also gave meta analysis's to boost our test scores. Take him!

Makes Physics enjoyable. He gives practice exams before the actual exams. If you can understand the practice exams, the tests will be extremely easy for you. Gives everyone 100% on all the labs, and will make you take the same quiz again and again until you get a 100%. Good lectures and an easy grader, Crowder is a solid choice for physics.

Extremely easy course. Very few large assignments and have plenty of time to do them. I was always discouraged by science courses but he is very easy to relate to and is a great teacher. 10/10 would recommend

No matter what he says , you honestly do not need the book. There's only one online 9 question homework assignment a week. There's only one test, the final. He's a boring teacher, but easy. You have to show up to class because he will do random in class assignments.

He is a awesome teacher since he is able to get the whole class into the subject. Whether it be telling stories or offending people ( but he never serious about it), he is willing to help and answer any question you may have. If you decide to take his class you wont regret it.

It's so long since I've gotten an A in a math involved course, but this teacher made it happen! He offends everyone at least once, but that's his personality. This semester he let us use his concept maps on the tests which saved me! You could write on them too! Labs, show up, do work, and he'll give you points. Work with him & he'll work with you!

This guy is the best. He knows his stuff and he'll make sure you learn it too. Lectures are interesting if sometimes off topic. Tests aren't too hard if you study. Odd sense of humor and good stories related to the material. Lets see, what else? He swears in pig latin, he'll call you out on things, and he made me fall in love with physics.

Conceptual Physics... did I learn anything? No... but I received a B! Online homework only, no quizzes, just a final which a study guide was given for and the final seemed like a foreign language to me... and I still received a B. Show up and interact with him during lectures (his sense of humor is dry, but really funny) and you'll pass.

One of the hardest classes I have ever taken in my life. My heavy interest in electrical engineering and drive to succeed led me to do very well. Most of his lectures may not be clear. He is pretty helpful outside of class. You may have to work your butt off studying the textbook and handouts as most of your grade rides on the midterms and final.

Crowder is something else but in a good way. This is one of those classes where your grade depends on how well you do on your midterm and final.

Professor Crowder is hilarious! He has a sarcastic sense of humor and always had me laughing! Online homework was not to hard. No late work was accepted (Class & HW). Lectures are long, but he gives lengthy breaks. I'm not good at Science and he helped me pass. Final was the only test. Overall, I guess the class was okay.

Hard subject - easy class. He does get off topic A LOT, but gives his students everything you need to pass. Only down side is he puts up with students who talk back & goof off.

Great teacher, summer course. He's funny when you make him mad and I swear he does magic. You can call him captain Kurt which is fun and his sarcasm keeps the class awake. Text is only for homework and if you need help talk to the core. Most chem tutors can help you but crowder is pretty clear in class even in th summer.

Kurt is the man. He really is a great teacher for engin. Class was really fun. Barely used the text books. Sometimes I get lost because he starts rambling about random stuff but overall the class was very easy and I got an A. I look forward to having him as a teacher again.

He is very clear and explains things extremely well. I found him to be a little unfriendly but his overall teaching was perfectly fine. He wouldn't tell me if I could add the class or not until I spent two weeks in the class, until the last possible add date. he is very professional and knows the field well.

Easy A. Great Chinese teacher! If you miss something, he allows you to still do it for credit. Very funny teacher. He is perfect teacher for introduction to engineering because he makes it feel like it's very interesting and easy. But in reality, engineering is the opposite. Don't turn in your tests after his countdown, or you get a deduction!

He was a great Chinese teacher, oh wait this was Statics class...?! He's one of those teachers that seems like his mind is elsewhere during the lectures, mostly because so are the students'. He makes it very easy to pass but not necessarily to learn the subject thoroughly. Only a midterm and final.

GREAT teacher but he is one of those Love/Hate people. Either you'll really enjoy his class or really hate it. Very funny. Jokes a lot. Tells stories to illustrate concepts. I had a blast and took additional courses with him. Highly, highly recommend. He inspired me to become an engineer.
