Kwame is a really cool guy. He had lots of good stories and lead interesting discussions. Only had about three papers and I think he grades fairly. He assigns readings just about weekly, so you do have to read. I think he is probably one of the easiest Intro to Lit/Crit professors at Pratt.

Count how many times he say "you know" in a class. I bet you can fill a paper. I dont recommend him since he assigns response writing every class also he does not clearly explain what he wants and when students does it wrong, it is all on us that everybody did it the wrong way.

Great if you enjoy talking, don't want to read books, and understand his critiques on your essays. Not if you don't like his opinions, rambling, and his habit of losing your paper. Nice guy, easygoing in personality and courseload, but it's gets annoying after a while. A definite easy A if you voice your opinion often.

The class is super easy. If you want to pass just comment on a discussion in class once in a while and you'll be fine. However you will deal with the longest lectures of your life with every other phrase being "you know". If you're bored listening to him just count how many times he says "you know". Overall he's really chill and can be very helpful

I started off loving this guy. But as the course went on, I started realizing how opinionated he is. It's to such an extreme that I used to actually get upset at the end of class because his views are so extreme. But still, he's a chill and cool guy.. don't get on his bad side. He's really boring but super easy. You'll get a good grade regardless.

Kwame kicks ass. Yeah, he may veer off-topic and talk about today's world, but he's exactly what I wanted in an English class here. He's fun to listen to, and has some great stories about producing music over the years. Papers allowed you to write about something you were interested in, and readings were relevant and enjoyable.

Kwame was the coolest teacher I have ever had. At first we had some differences in opinions, but he opened my eyes to a whole new world of thinking. We watched kickass movies and while the readings were sometimes a little drab, he always made them interesting. He is kickass.

Nice guy, totally pointless class. Assigned some interesting reads and we watched some cool movies, but didn't learn a thing. Class discussions always veered off-topic and he didn't care to moderate. Assigned really vague topics for homework and wasn't very good at explaining what he wanted, even when you talk to him one-on-one.
