He's a really nice guy and tries hard so help us understand the material. He has a heavy accent, but jokes with us about it. 3 exams and a final; we get to use cheat sheets on them all, and gives partial credit for effort. Gives pop quizzes but most of the time lets us work in groups. I never take notes and I've gotten an A on the first 2 tests.

He is hard to undeerstand but he is sweet and tries his best. I hated when students would be rude to him becsuse they didn't understand. The concepts were not that hard. You can teach yourself. This class was fine but it cal get a little dull at times.

He's really sweet, but you will be teaching yourself for the rest of the semester. I would suggest to sit in the front since his accent takes awhile to get use to. He's very lenient when he sees most of the class is not understanding the topic. But he does try his best to help you understand the topic. If anything go to tutoring in LA5.

He's funny. Real nice guy but hard to understand. your going to be teaching yourself in this class so get a solutions manual and go to free tutoring on the 3rd floor of the LA5 building. He lets you retake the tests of a good majority of the class gets a failing grade, which was every test except the final.

His lectures are not that useful, he tries to show why and that 'why' is pretty hard to explain in Calc3. I strongly recommend doing all HW once or twice with cramster and knowing how to do all the problems.

MAPB-7 is an easy class in general so this class was easy. Professor Moon is cool, just don't be annoying and he will like you. If you need help, you're better off going to math help in LA-5 rm. 345 or something. He's cool.

His class is one of the easiest math classes I have taken in terms of the problems... But, his philosophy on how math should be done is ridiculous. You have to have an = sign, you have to do everything exactly the way it is in the book, or you get a 60%...

Accent takes getting used to. He allowed cheat sheets containing formulas (no homework/class examples, though) on all midterms and even the final. Plus he gave hints during the exams. Frequent pop quizzes, but factors only the top 10 into your grade. If you do your homework and show up to both the lecture and activity sessions, you'll do fine.

VERY difficult teacher. he is a really nice and funny guy but it was so difficult to understand anything he said and he wasnt very helpful if you were confused about something. i would not recommend taking him. if you do be sure to always bring your book and pay close attention to hw problems

Yes he is a nice guy, yes he is funny, yes he is smart and knows his stuff but he is just not a teacher. He does not know how to explain or teach. Although he is not a very rough exam grader, he plays favorites. If you are on his good side, he will grade less harshly on your exams. Take him only if its your last resort, otherwise take someone else!

Professor Moon was a good teacher. Once you get used to his accent, its not a bad class. He teaches by showing a lot of example problems from the book, so always have it. As a bonus, he can be funny sometimes and he talks about rockets all the time since he used to work for the DOD.

Ok first: He will waste time in class if someone doesn't use proper notation. Two: His tests are difficult and study the hw you are assigned as he takes like maybe 1-2 questions from it. He plays favorites so don't get on his bad side or else ur quizzes and hw will be graded with extra scrutiny. He gets upset if you ask questions.

I had Dr. Moon as a Friday lab professor. He's very helpful, but he only gets mad if everyone gets too chaotic in that class. And he always says "right" to make if you understand anything or not.
