Dr. Collins is a fantastic teacher. She knows the material well and enjoys class participation on the topics she teaches. She is always willing to meet with you outside of class and work with you. As long as you show up, you will do fine. Very understanding and very personable.

Professor Collins made this ethics course seem much easier than others and she was willing to explain in detail what she was covering. However, when you ask for your grade, she will not tell you what it is, her exam review sheets are very broad making the exams much harder to study for.

Dr. Collins was a great professor. She was very nice and very helpful and easy to get in touch with. Her excitement and energy for the class made it interesting. Her class required studying for all three tests, but none of them were too hard if you paid attention in class. I would take another class from her if I could. I highly recommend her.

She's a nice lady :) I think people on the earlier pages might be talking about a different professor or something. She's very smart and helpful. She is reasonable if you have an emergency or something. I love her accent :)

Taking P140 Intro to Ethics with Professor Collins was amazing! She's is a very skillful teacher that knows what she's talking about and gives many examples as she lectures. You really need to take good notes in her class, not everything you need to know written on the chalkboard. She gives review sheets for her midterms which makes it easer.

I have the highest respect for Dr. Collins. She's absolutely brilliant and very helpful. I had to miss a few weeks of school due to a surgery and of all my professors she was the only one willing to work with me to complete the course. Her classes require some work, so don't enter her class thinking it's going to be a blow off class.

Professor Collins is very knowledgeable in her field. The class was basically open discussion of the textbook readings with appropriate background information each day. If you do the reading, and come to class prepared you should do fine. There were 3 total tests and 3 papers. Exams were each worth 200 pts, mostly short answer, and each paper 100.

Professor Collins was difficult. Two exams were worth 65% of the grade. Even if you score high on the two papers and quizzes, the exams are worth more and are difficult. I found her to be rude at the end of the course.

High expectations of students. Come to class prepared and ready to discuss the material. Papers are to be of college level writing. Make sure you can write well or you'll fail. This lady is sharp and knows her material.

She is completely MEAN! Totally unreasonable in the way she treated me and some of us. She acts incredibly proper and haughty, and seems most concerned with that rather than teaching us well. Some times it seemed she was angry toward us. This was a total waste of time and my money!
