all you do in class is talk about what you read the night before...half the time no one reads and he just talks about it. the material is easy and interesting. Only two main papers and no tests. Good class...easy grade...def take it!!

Prisons & punishment. Larry was a GREAT teacher. Very challenging- you sort of have to get on his level. He's one of those professors who makes you think (very important :) ). He's not as harsh as he seems. Super smart and worth spending time with.

prisons and punishment... longest class ever cause he is sooo boring, readings were impossibly difficult to get but we played dumb and he took 1/2 the class goin over them, i stopped readin after awhile. Really doesnt seem to have any knowledge of prisons but it was an easy A, jus 1 long final paper

I don't like Ancient Philosophy so perhaps I am unfairly biased, but he didn't exactly make it come alive for me. I was in the largest class of its kind ever, with people who were really dumb and disinterested. A lot of reading.
