If you show up to class everyday and do your work you will pass his class. If you don't understand something just ask for help. Larry really does care and wants everyone to pass his class. If you need help ask for help or he will assume you understand the material. He's a nice and funny guy, but does take time to warm up to him.

Larry Brown is very kind! I had him for Math 78 and he would help me during my break in the tutoring and learning center. He would also check my homework before class to make sure I did it right. Hes very caring and wants all his students to pass. If you do your part and do homework, study and pay attention youll pass. 10/10 recommend Larry.

Larry is sarcastic and funny. His teaching style took some getting used to, but after the first half of the quarter was over, I really stated to appreciate his humor. He really cares and wants you to pass. He always answers questions and urges students to ask for help. He is very knowledgeable of the material and grades very fairly.

I took Larry Brown for 74C, 76D, and 78 to make up math classes. The most important thing about him is to learn his teaching style. He spends tons of time before tests in this series to review concepts. Nice guy, I pulled him aside after class many times to go over problems on the dry erase board to double check my thinking.

Brown was great I took this class before and couldn't pass but after I took the class with him I passed the test with a B! He really helps you learn and doesn't move too quick. If you aren't the best at math this is the teacher for you.

Really lovely teacher - gives a very clear syllabus of standards and expectations for the quarter. Goes over material very thoroughly and is always willing to help and answer any questions you may have. Definitely wish that he taught high level courses so I could take a class from him again!

An excellent teacher who goes over everything step by step, and will repeat anything you have trouble with. Cares about the class. High rate of passing students, easy homework. Well, easy for being math. Very approachable. Wish he taught more higher level classes.

Good guy, terrible teacher. He pretty much does the math on the board as fast as he possibly can, skips step, and doesn't explain ANYTHING clearly. I would not recommending taking his class.
