OMG... Larry Carson is the best. He is dumbs all the material down as to accomodate the high school drop out crowd so common in City College... yet he keeps the material relevant and communicates with those of us on a higher level as well. He has a great personality and enjoys his work. Took 5 blow off classes with him.

He cant even really be considered a teacher, he just rambles and mentions some of the words that will be on the test, you basically have to read the chapters and teach yourself and then get lucky on the test because he ALWAYS puts more than one answer that is correct to each question... im not sure he even knows the material

This is the worst teacher that I have ever had. He does not teach. Nothing in class is related to the test material. Gives out study guides that do not contain any relevant material. The book is very difficult to follow so you cant even teach the material to yourself. I was forced to withdraw! If you care at all about your GPA do not take his class

Carson is a funny guy!Attendance does not affect your grade so thats definitely a plus!If you can learn on your own, pop in class here and there, and just complete the tests and 2 easy papers you are guaranteed the least a B!!! I really recommend his class!

Carson is a great guy and fun to take a class with. He is kind of prone to digression and rambling, though. Not that his stories aren't fun to listen to. When he's on, you learn a lot. When he's off, you'd better read your textbook closely. He is all in all a great teacher, though. He is dedicated and passionate, and knows his stuff.

took 1st. easy as hell. to get an A, memorize on 3x5 flashcards all boldface words in book. Never went to class, but did his 2 papers & got a B.Carson doesn't take attendance & he's funny, will never talk about what's on test. So I did'nt go. Take evening or night classes, you'll get higher grades
