Mr. Caveney is great! He is totally passionate about what he's teaching demonstrated during his lectures. He can be kind of picky when it comes to the critiques, however, he is completely fair. Also, if you don't do so well on a project he gives you another chance to fix it which is a plus! Take his Modern/Contemporary art classes. One of the BEST!

First off as they say this is a beginning drawing class. Well in my opinion this class was much more than a beginner level. I had some drawing skills but his expectations are so high that he would probably give a fine art major a poor grade.

he is the nicest, swetest teacher i have ever met. He is the best teacher in the art institute by far. he is very clear and he expleins everything in a great way. he is a passionate teacher and a great artist.

He is a very knowledgable teacher. I think that he has to grade more along the lines of what is required than the artistic idea behind the work. IT IS a Drwawing class. Very cool guy but I think that he should drink less coffee.
