Comment:

Coach is all over the place and messes up often on problems. He's very very very very repetitive. Loves to refer to the class as gang and says what all the time. But, he does go over the most missed problems consistently for review. HW is due once a week. So I'd suggest taking this class if you failed it, but if its first time then eh, idk.

Horrible teacher. Never stays on topic, can't read the handwriting on the board. Forgot what he was doing partway through a problem. Offensive language and stories. Complains about hang be politically correct.

This was the worst math instructor I had ever had. He gets off topic ALL the time. It's basically "story" time for every class. His teaching is not clear and is all over the place. Very slow and unorganized. His tests are easy and he gives a lot of EC on tests. But overall I would not recommend this instructor to anyone.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS unless you already know algebra and just need the credits. He talks about football the entire time and insists you call him "coach"(he will correct you if you don't). You will eventually learn how to tune him out to just get through the class. There's only 3 tests and he grades easy because no one learns anything from him.

He's everywhere with his teaching. I don't recommend him to anyone. He doesn't have clear notes for you take down. He tells about ten stories a day when he could be teaching us ten lessons with that time. He's always writing down the wrong numbers for a problem. DONT TAKE IS CLASS, unless you like teaching yourself.

If you don't like teaching yourself math, don't take this class. Coach is all over the place, never makes any sense, bounces from topic to topic. His handwriting is a sing. his tests are very easy though and if the class does bad he lets you take them over. Overall easy but BORING and no help from the teacher! LONG POINTLESS STORIES!

Curtis never stays on subject. For someone like me, who needs as much instruction in math as possible, it was a horrible class to take. All of his classes (No exaggeration) start off with him ranting about football teams and his family for the first hour. I had to learn everything on my own which was awful. He was never there to help students after

Coach rocks! He's not afraid to answer any question & will go so far as to show how 1+1=2 if need be. Attend, do hw & you can't fail! I got a 103% for the class. So awesome I'm taking 124 with him too!!!

First let me start off by saying that without coach I would of failed 124 and I did. I took it online and with a tutor and just couldn't get it. Everytime I would say something that I learned in 108 by coach I was told it was old school so I took over the summer with him again and passed. He may be loud but that's the coach in him, thanks coach!

Coach was one of the best professor's I've ever had. He gets carried away with his stories but they keep the class interesting. If you show up and do the hw, you will get an A. Easy tests, hard final. Very forgiving

I enjoyed “coach”. He does tell a lot of stories. For me it broke up the monotony of algebra. Coach will TOTALLY HELP you if you need it. He won’t let you fail if you show effort. He CARES about you. Show up to class, don’t be late or leave early, he likes you to stay. Great math teacher.

What a character! He often gets distracted with storytelling, which is, according to him, part of his teaching strategy. It does help if you tend to get overwhelmed by math problems and need to give your brain a break! He is very helpful if you don't take his "coach" tone of voice personally.

Tangent is an understatement, and is very distracting in the beginning of the semester, but once you get used to the way he teaches, it all fits in place just fine. He is a character, and wants only the best for his students.

Coach was an awesome storyteller! but frequently got sidetracked with the stories. i had a very difficult time in class and had to learn the majority of the course work on my own. i still like to catch with him on campus, but not if i dont have an hour to kill. THANKS FOR THE LESSONS COACH!

BAD TEACHER!!!!! if you want to learn math don't take him however if you want football stats and far fetched stories about his past over and over again go ahead and take him. I can get an A++ on quiz about his life but fail my math test.

Pretty much the same thing everyone has already said. Don't be late, don't leave early, and don't miss class without a good reason. I don't really mind his class.. its easy. He does repeat himself all the time. Frequently brags on his 180+ college credits and so called ability to know everything about teaching. Class is really slow!
