He does NOT, I repeat, NOT play favorites. He is a very nice man and a great teacher. If you do what he asks you to do the first time he tells you to do it, then he won't be strict. The only reason any teacher gets strict is because they believe you have potential and they want to help you get better.

Plays favorites like crazy. If he doesnt like you you will have a tough time doing well. He doesnt seem to understand that not everyone is a tenor. Most class was spent by him lecturing us yet we still managed to learn nothing. He liked me, and I did put effort into this course so I got an A. But I wouldnt take him again unless I had absolutely to.

didnt do half the stuff required for the course freshman year, still got A-'s each semester. sophomore year, did even less, bombed both juries... got a B- both terms. good prof if you're looking to slide by with the least amount of work possible.
