I LOVE Hearn. He is very caring, and just an all around nice guy. Now, there is a TON of homework. And I mean a lot. But to be fair, the topic was tough to me. With that being said, he is a super nice guy and you can tell he is extremely intelligent. Ive taken numerous classes with him and will continue to.

Prof. Hearn absolutely cares about making sure students are able to learn the material. I took 2 online accounting classes with him. He uses videos to teach subject and to go over homework assignments. Any questions I had were promptly answered. His knowledge and passion for accounting makes subject matter easier to learn.

Comment:

Absolute favorite teacher in the world! I took accounting with him online and he was always ready to answer any questions and help as much as he could. There is a TON of homework to do but its only for your benefit for the exam. He wants to make sure you really understand the material. I would def recommend him!

This professor really cares about his students. By far the most understanding and kind professor I have had. But, this is a tough class and if you don't do the homework assignments and online work, you will not do well.

Astoundingly capable professor. His familiarity with the material has resulted in a graceful customization of the curriculum, he tells you exactly which areas are worth your attention for the exams; no blindsiding. If something in the text isn't sticking, ask him for help! There isn't a question he can't answer, complete with appropriate scenarios.

An amazing teacher and really helps students learn the material. Lectures for a day then goes through exercises with class. Always stops and helps someone if they do not understand something specific. Would recommend to anyone taking accounting.

Very thorough teacher and straight to the point most of the time (unless he wants to trick you). The most understanding teacher you will find. Easy teacher if you keep up with your homework (there is a little more than necessary but it helps).

Mr. Hearn is a very organized teacher, he will give you the exact due dates of all the homework/papers for the entire semester the 1st day of class. I took his classes online and even though I had to read and comprehend the material, he always replied to my emails very quickly whenever I needed help. I've had 3 classes with Prof. Hearn, and he is simply great. VERY helpful, friendly, and professional. If you ever need help with anything, Prof. Hearn is there for you and will do whatever he can to help you. A great guy, very knowledgeable in his field. If you're taking an accounting class, I'd definitely suggest trying to get into one of his.

Larry would literally take a phone call from his bathtub to help you. Extremely dedicated, extremely professional and always available. Do not take Accounting unless you take Larry Hearn. It's worth it even if your intention is to be a history major, its worth having an accounting class under your belt and the best way is with Larry.
