Great teacher. Makes things understandable, however, tests are very hard. Needs to assign more homework in order to do better on the tests. Curves A LOT. I was sure I made a C but I came out with a B. Done with accounting forever...thank god.

He is a very nice man, always happy, and if you talk to him about baseball he will love you! His class was pretty easy, just do the lab homeworks and read the chapters for the test and you should get an easy A.

Tests are impossible! Picky grader. Most of stuff on the tests he doesn't teach in class. Rather boring. I studied for 2 days on my tests and still made Ds. NOT AT ALL WHAT I WOULD CALL EXPECTED OR EASY. Avoid him for this class if possible.

Dr. Maples is as clear and helpful as he can be. He's a fun guy and an easy A. However, I found it disturbing I sometimes knew more about current tax laws than he did.
