Great hands on class in application development (IaaS & PaaS) as it relates to the cloud. Created virtual machines (Windows & Linus), deployed web sites (ASP & WordPress), designed web service back ends, built data service SQL Databases and Blob storage using Visual Studio, Azure & Amazon Web Services. Records all his class so easy to follow.

Comment:

Simply the Best! Take his class if you want to learn by doing. Even if you are not an experienced programmer. All his lectures are recorded LIVE, so if you miss something you can just watch it online. He does the homework with you & explains the codes as he goes; no reading from a textbook, no midterm or final exam. The final is creating an app.

Comment:

Professor Moore is a great guy. This was his intro to android app development course and he was great for a person new to android programming. All lectures are recorded which helps a lot when completing the homework (which Professor Moore does in class). No midterms, final is an application which you work on over 3 weeks. Would take again!

He is an ASP.Net Pro and he expects his students to work like one of his programmers. Expect 3+ hrs of homework/week and a 40 hour final project. Not an easy A but a great class with the latest in ASP.NET

ASP.NET course fun but challenging- final project is 60-80 hours of work!
