Comment:

Dr. Nichols is one of the kindest and funniest professors you will ever meet. He uses quite a few videos within his lectures, but they all relate to the material. He's a little wacky, but I would definitely recommend him. He gives study guides for all of his quizzes and tests. The hardest thing is the research paper, but even then it's not so bad

Comment:

One of the easiest sociology professors ive ever taken, this is the 3rd time ive taken him and every class structure is the same. Tests/Quizzes are easy and he gives out a portion of the questions on study guides. Final research paper is a pain, but if you get below a B on the paper you really didnt do anything..Highly reccomend

Class is boring but you must take notes and skim the books to receive an A on the tests. He gives short written assignments on the book, and a term paper and a powerpoint presentation on the term paper as a final. Easy A if you do the work and GO TO CLASS!

This class is very interesting!! He knows the subject very well and makes jokes that you can't help but laugh at. Note taking can be very boring but useful for exams. Attendance is mandatory and sometimes used as extra credit. There is a paper you have to write but he grades fairly and gives you useful feedback. Watched movies a lot as well.

Comment:

Nichols is on of the best teachers i have ever had. Some find him weird but i thought he was hilarious!! kinda of like the goofy uncle in your family. His white Collar crime class was very interesting. I had no interest in the subject before the class but he made the material very easy to learn

Nichols is one of those silly teachers but I love it! He's so easy to get along with and he tries to make the class as easy as possible. Yes, you have to go to class to take the notes but it's not too boring. He's kinda like a cooky old man that still acts young. There's no homeowrk in the class except for one paper and then a few tests and quizzes

Nichols is a really great professor. His tests are fair just make sure you go to class for attendance and take good notes. Hes handwriting isnt the best but just ask him and he'll happily tell you. Class isnt as boring as some say, he keeps you awake with his dancing and funny jokes

SO DISORGANIZED...gives practice quizzes which are exact questions on real quiz, so that is helpful. Not a hard professor, but VERY boring. He makes it hard to take notes because you can't read his writing and he jumps around alot.

I like to call this class snore fest 334. If I have to hear about how his daughter went to Chicago 1 more time,I'll kill myself. It's an easy class if you don't mind listening to him ramble on about how he "loves" Watergate, and his daughter at University of Chicago. He thinks he's pretty funny as well. News flash, he's not!

just do the readings, go to class everytime and you should do fine. Kind of hard to take notes because he is soft spoken and has terrible handwriting. He gives practice quizzes so you know a lot of what will be on the test before you take it.
