Savage is great. Lectures are engaging (even when the subject matter isn't), workload is easy to manage, no surprises on final exam, clear about expectations, and posts all his lecture notes online. Also assigned textbooks were cheap compared to other classes.

A great prof who doesn't take himself too seriously. Those who skipped his lectures because he uploaded all of his powerpoints really missed out on his passion, his humour, and his dry wit.

Larry is awesome. He definitely favours students, so sit at the front, introduce yourself. GO TO HIS OFFICE HOURS, you will talk a lot about your weekend plans and your future. I love him, I go to another school now, no profs are as cool as Larry. Also, he lets you call him Savage, he thinks it's cool.

Lots of people don't go to his classes, but they are definitely missing out! His lectures can be confusing at times, but you do learn a lot of good information! He's also kind, into teaching students and is passionate about what he teaches. One of the best and easiest classes you can ever take at Brock!

Prof. Savage's collective bargaining class is the best course I've ever taken at Brock. You'll learn more in this course than in any other. Plus, he's hilarious and lecture is never boring.

I loved this class and this prof. He's really engaging, hilarious in a Norm MacDonald/Jon Stewart political kind of way and is able to make all the course content really relatable. Looking forward to taking more Labour Studies in the future.

professor savage is unreal. he provided our labour studies class with everything we needed online as well as in class. he was extremely clear as to what would be on mid terms and exams. he is also a really nice and down to earth guy, he likes to make jokes and keep lectures light. great guy
