I struggled with this class. It just didn't come easily to me. I made it out with a B because I'm pretty sure he bumped my grade up, and that was WITH him giving us a 100 on a test that we didn't even take. Wonderful man, I can't say enough good things about his personality. Don't let this review scare you out of taking him, he gives grace.

This was a very hard course. Only take if you are pre-med as it is HEAVY on anatomy. His tests are very tricky, and his final is comprehensive. He is fair on grading, but his average exam scores are in the mid 70s. He is easy to understand and a good teacher. While I learned a lot, I would not take another one of his courses.

he is very friendly but going to class was a waste of time. you pretty much have to teach yourself. the tests have NOTHING to do with class. he will just tell stories, then on test day he will suddenly expect you to know obscure details he never mentioned you would have to know. you will need this class if youre a psych major butdont take otherwise

Dr. Walker is one of the most precious teachers. He really does care about his students, and if you have a question he is more than willing to meet with/help. Some pointers: the majority of his lectures won't be on the test, or will be reiterated from your reading. So know the book and you'll be fine. He gives a curve at the end as well.

I loved this class and Dr. Walker. He tried to help me determine what I wanted to do after college and gave me a large amount of his time. He's a great teacher and uses wonderful examples.
