All I can say is WOW! such a great teacher. I learned more from professor Ainsworth than I thought was even possible. I would take any class she taught. Makes speech fun and interesting.

I had her for 2 classes. She taught me more than I ever would have expected. I actually learned more about History and Political Science than I did in the actual classes. I think she is one of the best teachers at Butte. If you get a chance take her class even if you don't need to.

Only five students have earned a C within the past three years. The only students to ever get C's failed to turn in more than one assignment. All students receive very detailed feedback and a printed grade sheet before the end of the term. They have until after the final to hand in extra credit. After having to take over the class mid-semester, Laura dealt with the situation with more tact and professionalism than I would have expected. She got us on track and allowed us to keep learning. She was flexible and willing to work out issues. I would never have thought this gem of a teacher would have ended up in front of me. I'm glad!

Doesn't play favorites. I had an F two weeks before the end of the semester. I was able to pull it up. You never would have known based on the way she treated me that I was failing. She is very nice. Wants you to know the material but gives you many ways to do that.

She's a very nice person and cares about her class. She talks fast so you need to write quick if you want to take notes. She has a good sense of humor too. Not too much was due at the beginning of the semester but it really piled up later on so be prepared for a slow start and a crazy finish.
