Very much willing to help outside of class. It can be boring sometimes, but can't everything. Tests are sometimes difficult (even she admits it) but if you study enough, you should do fine. She grades fairly nicely and curves a lot too. Lab is also pretty interesting. This stuff will help you in the future, most likely, so it's worth taking.

She's good at explaining stoichiometry, which I hate. Not the best teacher, but one-on-one during office hours she explains things perfectly

She is sooo boring, drop the class ASAP or risk possibility of dying of boredom. I think that I wanted to sleep every single day in that class. What did I do to deserve this torture? I would drop her class, but I need the credit...blah, can u tell how bored I am just writing about her?

intends well but horrible lecturer. knows the dna/protein stuff but cannot teach cell cycles. class is not a learning experience. along with nitpicky exams = not fun. difficulty is not that bad but the fact that you're boered out of your mind makes it worse.

Awful. She seemed absolutely bored in lecture and it was obvious she didn't care at all. She taught worse than any teacher I have EVER had, in H.S. or college. Be prepared to teach yourself from the book. Avoid at all costs.

Very shakey in lecture and unclear. Expects far too much. A woman who has her PhD should not speak this poorly in front of her students! Terrible

Laura sometimes seems to have a negative attitude towards student progress and an interesting way of curving....she is a lot more helpful in office hours than class.
