If you don't do well in her class it's because you didn't even try. She is understanding and doesn't overload you with work. She also gives extra credit if you feel you need the points for a better grade. One of the best professors at LCCC!

Class was fun. I'll miss it. She goes over everything you need to know on PowerPoint in class. The speeches count for most of your grade. She wants to see you improve and succeed. She is very approachable and kind. I would like to take all of her classes.

The class was very easy and interesting. There were review assignments, only 2 exams (the midterm and the final) & a movie power point presentation project. Her assignments were so easy that the power points weren't necessary to study.

This class was super easy. Laura was a very easy grader on the speeches. Also, there was no tests in the class. There was a final, and midterm however both were take home. You do not need the book for this class because you never use it. Very easy class! I recommend Laura over some of the other teachers I've heard about!

Laura is a great teacher! She is so sweet, and really cares about each individual student. She let us get to know each other, and get comfortable before giving our speeches. We all had a lot of fun, especially with the group project. She gives great feedback, but her lectures seem pointless. Lots of easy points, I got an "A" no problem.

very nice teacher. she does expect the class to participate, so if no one is saying anything she will just stand there. When she asks what type of test would you like choose essay. She tells you exactly what to study and only 3 out of the 6 topics will you have to write on verse multiple choice which is everything.

Excellent teacher...very detailed and thorough on every aspect of what she expects for speaking and testing. She will increase your points as long as you show improvement. Even the shyest person can feel comfortable with her guidance.

Not a hard teacher at all, just very very strange. Constantly repeats herself to the point of annoyingness. There are only 2 tests, midterm and final, and she tells you exactly whats on them, if you study you will do fine. Not hard, just extremely strange.

I really did not want to take this class because I get shy in front of people. I had one speech that I really believed in and the other I just took my research paper from ENGL 162 into a speech. Her tests only require about 30 minutes to prepare for and are all essay. The class turned out to be pretty simple. Ms. Rouse was a good instructor.

The flaws I've come across in the class are just due to it being held only once a week. She seems to try to make it work, and is very clear about what she wants for the tests. She's a tough grader, but it's not unreasonable. I'd recommend her to anyone :)
