Worst teacher on the planet. Very unclear. Tests are challenging. The questions on the midterms are very confusing, its like he wants to trick you. I pretty much learned everything from the book. Class was a waste of time.

If math isn't your strong subject, don't take Mr. Johnston. He's generally a nice guy, and you can tell that he is passionate about his work. However,he doesn't explain the material thouroughly or in an organized way...he's all over the board. I missed class once, and was lost the entire semester.

This Guy is the worst teacher i have ever had in my life. He is very rude i know girls who visited his office hours and left almost in tears. He doesnt really care if you dont understand the material and his tests are not like problems from the books.

One of the worst professors I've ever had at Cuesta. Is repetitive with his examples, yet his tests are completely different than how he does problems in class. Is not clear about what he's teaching until he's almost done with the example. Try to avoid him.

He is extremely hard to follow, gives you a TON of homework and then never collects it. He collected it maybe two times the whole semester. If you are not a math person, you will not like this class. You basically teach yourself the subject through the book. He also has a temper, he threw a textbook at a kid who told him his test was lame.

Well, let's see, you're entire grade is based on tests the dude does not collect homework and he grades like a crazy person (harshly). Mr. Johnston expects too much from his students but if you want to achieve in his class really and I mean REALLY apply yourself from the beginning. He is hard to follow during lecture so read the book - alot!

worst teacher ever. he does not collect hmwk, there are few quizzes, and grades are based on tests. i tried going to office hours & tutoring, but it did not help!! he presents concepts in a poor manner and is unorganized. do not take if you are not a math person to begin with! you will regret it!!

This guy is VERY smart, he knows his stuff, but he doesnt always explain it well. Statistics is a hard class but should be passable. It is hard to pass this class because he doesnt make concepts easy to understand, he goes into too much detail. I think because he was unorganized in the way he presented his lectures.ps-never collected ANY homework.

worst teacher ive have ever had. this guy is the kind that is really smart but has no social skills and cant teach to save his life. he makes everything seem so much more difficult and doesnt really teach you. save yourself the trouble of getting a c cuz he grades really hard on all his tests and doesnt cut any slack. be prepared to bust just to pass.
