Laurette is a very smart and professional professor. She is very helpful and accessible. Lectures are very fast and you are not able to clearly understand. Lots of time is required to succeed in this course, as other accounting courses. Exams are written by her so the questions are quite different than the textbook. She gave candy at halloween.

DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS!! I've never failed an accounting class before until I took one with Laurette. Extremely hard marker and has confusing and complicated midterms. She will also be rude if you don't understand something. The type of prof that makes you wants to change majors.

Notes are a little hard to follow but, practice the questions and read the textbook. Fair grader and like many profs, expects you to put in the effort to receive a good grade. Usually generous if she sees you're taking the time to learn. She's terrific for offering outside help after class which I took advantage of and you all should too!

Beautiful teaching style. Learn so much from this class! Prof Korman loves it when her students understand and she wants to see everyone suceed. Her exams are tricky, but if you work hard enough its not a very hard course. I look forward to taking her advanced accounting classes.

Laurette is one of the best! she's very good at teaching and she gives you notes which she goes through during class. Her homeworks are a combination of wiley and hand in which makes it so much easier to learn and get done than spending hours on Wiley. Recommend her 1000% failed twice and she's the only reason I passed the third time !

Everyone says shes very hard, but she is actually very caring. She wants you to succeed in class and she does show this. Her lectures are very important, she gives a lot of good information about the material, and her notes are very helpful. Textbook is only used for examples and homework questions. Very strict marker, but her exam hw package helps

As long as you attend class and listen to her lectures, you will do fine, just make sure to always do the homework and some extra problems on your own time. Her tests are not too difficult if you actually study. Shes a great prof, one of the best for accounting.

she is an excellent prof, if u do bad then its on you, if u do the homework and practice the problems she gives u then u should get an excellent mark, her midterms and finals have no surprises at all its exactly similar to the assignments and practice questions she gives, loved her!

Its accounting, it isnt easy. Shes very thorough in what she teaches. Her exams and final were very similar to her in class exercises and hwk she assigns. Hwk that she assigned was only around 2-4 questions per chapter. She give an extra 4% if you do all hwk assignments throughout the semester. Recommend if you are trying to UNDERSTAND MGMT acct!!

Laurette really goes out of her way to make students succeed. She gives thorough notes and goes through examples with you in class. Exams are EXACTLY like the homework questions she gives. All you need for success in this course is practice practice practice!

Shes a great teacher her notes are so helpful, her tests are mainly based on the problems assigned for hw and the review questions given, so if you do those youll ace her tests. Shes really nice and understanding but never be late or else you dont get the notes

Laurette is a very organized professor - she has notes for every chapter that she prints and hands out in class, she balances time spent lecuring and time spent on in-class exercises perfectly and if you do all the homework she assigns, you will pass her tests. Don't skip class though. I would definitely take her again.

Professor Korman is an excellent accounting instructor. She explains concepts thoroughly and in-depth, which is why attendance is a must. Her tests are no cakewalk, but if you study hard you should get no less than a B. I strongly recommend this professor if you want to actually learn accounting.

She gives clear, easy to understand notes. Don't skip this class or it will be hard for you to catch up. She gives part marks on tests. Do your homework and the exam review questions and you will be fine! You will get the same questions from HW on the tests. Don't hesitate to ask for help when you don't understand something.

She is overrated. She always smile but rude. Her classes are copying from her overhead and no time to think anything. She'll give you 2 minutes to read solutions from transparency. Don't expect any answer keys from her even after submitted your assignments. Exams were tough with some language games. Avoid her unless ur really smart.
