Im not a group work person, but the in class group work turned out much better than any other group experience Ive had. Laurie was nice, the textbook was free online, lecture was interesting and she doesnt keep track of attendance so if you want you can just show up on test/group work days. She drops your lowest individual and group test score,

This professor is really good at making you feel dumb and awkwardly laughing about it. There is a bunch of horrible group work that doesn't prepare you for anything. The tests are awful and there's no good way to study no matter how much you try. She forgets she's been doing this for a long time and expects you to know as much as her.

Group Processes with this Prof. was a nightmare. She was unprepared for lectures and left the class "intentionally ambiguous" which made it near to impossible to figure out what she wanted done for homework or event the final group project. She was also unapproachable and dismissive when asked for help giving almost no clear guidelines for any work

I enjoyed the class, but the Readiness Assessment Tests were hard. The chapters were long, and the final was all short answer and essay. I recommend the class, but you need to be willing to dedicate a lot of hours a week towards it.

Took class through distance learning. Didn't really have much interaction - mainly just read the book and took the test. I thought her tests were hard. There is a lot of content covered, and everything is "fair game." She provides no guidance on what to focus on, and some of the questions were ridiculously specific.

Awesome teacher! As an international student, she made me feel welcome in the university/country. Love her class, remember her quote that "a good question usually does not have only one answer". Laurie is very approachable and really helpful. She takes the time to explain and discuss and really seems to enjoy her job. I think she gets a little flustered when a student disagrees with her, but is always open to criticism and suggestions. REally enthusiastic, I enjoy her classes and she has the right idea as to what makes a good prof

A very nice person, and quit knowledgable. Problems arise when students disagree or disprove a statement or research sited. She is not open for contradictory comments. Seems to openly favor some students over others including when she grading.

Lori is very nice and is a great person. As a professor I don't enjoy her as much because she teaches social psyc (which everyone thinks there an expert in) and she lets students believe their opinions are correct even when they disagree with the reseach
