Well, she's retiring this semester so I don't think anyone will need this review! Incredibly tough, the exams were the hardest version of what was taught. Tough grader very picky, very difficult class I heard there were much better/easier profs for 111.

I absolutely loved Professor Reed for meteorology. I felt that she gave us a good amount of work to do so we understood the material and would be involved in the class. She gives out pop quiz style assignments for extra credit, so it is best to attend class, even though she posts her lecture notes online.

This has been the most frustrating astronomy classes ever. I actually like astro, but she must have something out for me. She's never spelled my name correctly and whenever I received my work back she finds the most ridiculous things to drop the grade down.

She rambles on a lot. More often than not its about completely irrelevant topics. She really likes to talk about Canada since that's where shes from. I can say that the hour and 50 minutes spent during each class seem to drag because she doesn't do a great job at keeping he classes attention. If you can get a different prof do it!!

It had been a while since she taught Phys 112, so she was a little confusing at times, but she would really work to make sure we understood what was going on. Tests were well thought out, take very good notes, practice the problems in the book, and ask questions. You will be fine. If I had done all that, my grade would have been higher.

Reed is not my kind of Professor. She talks a lot about irrelevant stuff that it is hard to know what we are supposed to take notes on. The tests are ridiculous and ask for very specific answers that normally are difficult to recall. The class would probably be easier if I had paid attention more, but she lectures in a scattered, boring way.

Love her! Gives you a review sheet for every test. Explains things clearly. If you're lost, don't hesitate to ask. Questions on the test are similar to the ones she does in class. She does not try to be unfair whatsoever & really tries to help her students succeed. Highly recommended for astronomy, meteorology & physics 111.

Professor Reed is always willing to help. She interacts with students alot, and provides chances for extraa credit. As long as you try, this class will not be that bad. If you have an interest in Meteorolog, easy A.

Very intelligent woman, however if you're uninterested in Astronomy, I would not recommend this course. She's very helpful during her office hours, and her assignments she gives that aren't too close together. Tests are a bit hard, if you study and ask her the questions that arose when studying, she's very helpful with explanation, just gotta ask.

Very difficult to understand since she does not teach concepts. When I had her for a 100 level phys class I didn't understand a thing even tho I aced alg 132 which is the prereq. All she does is write formulas across the chalk board and talk really fast without explanation. Don't take her class if you actually want to understand physics.

She was always willing to ask questions, her lectures were all simply her doing example problems on the board which was helpful in a way for the exams since they were just problems. She had alot of "suggested problems" and provided step by step solutions. But her exams were difficult. She never taught concepts, just problems which made it hard.

She is a good professor and wants people to do well. I feel as though the class was rushed and my biggest complaint is that there was only 3 exams and a final. No homework, no quizzes. She was helpful and didn't mind you asking questions. Good study guides and made extra time for review sessions. I would take her if you can. Overall shes a good one

This class was super easy! Lot's of opportunities to get a good grade from study guides to extra credit. And since I get bored out of my mind by astronomy, I never went to class. I got a A after it was all over.

Really hard to pay attention. She knows a lot about the subject, but it can get very boring. She is very helpful and gives out study guides per each quiz and the lowest gets dropped. You need to study to get a good drade.

Professor Reed is very helpful. Material can be boring but overall it is an easy class. 4 quizzes, lowest quiz dropped. 4 assignments, one is a weather journal that is 20% of grade, which is very easy to do. Last assignment is exam review, most of the questions on that were on the exam. Overall pretty easy class if you put in the work.

Gives you a study guide for every quiz (only gives you 4 quizzes and drops the lowest quiz grade) and gives 4 assignments throughout the semester- gives them in advance because they're time consuming but pretty easy. She's not too bad, pretty nice, gives random extra credit. I would recommend!
